HIS Ministry

Genesis 1:27 (NRSV): So God created humankind in His image,  In the image of God He created them;

male and female He created them.


His ministry was created to promote awareness, inclusion, accessibility, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.

His volunteers are dedicated to developing, facilitating and ensuring spiritual programming,  fellowship opportunities, and loving support for individuals with special needs and their families. 

MONTHLY GATHERINGS

Each month, the participants will enjoy a program that includes devotions, prayer time, music, celebrations, snacks and crafts. Children and youth are welcome with a parent. Individuals attending as a group (ex. Group Home Residents, Other Church Groups, etc.) are welcome but must attend with a responsible person remaining with the group at all times.

Winter ball

Every year Mt. Zion throws a Winter Ball for our friends with special needs throughout the Charlotte region! This is like a prom with delicious food, party favors and lots of dancing! This is a completely free event sponsored by His Ministry.
