The Music and Arts Ministry at Mount Zion seeks to provide opportunities for all ages to offer their artistic gifts, develop their skills, and grow together in faith through fellowship and worship.
We welcome you to join us!
We are always open to the leading of the Spirit, and we seek to make full use of the gifts of those among us. If you would enjoy participating in any of our current music areas or in an ensemble that we do not offer, we are eager to expand our offerings to match the gifts of our church family. For additional information about the music and creative arts ministry, contact Shelley Little, Director of Music Ministries at slittle@mtzionumc.net.

Mt Zion Music in New York!
Choir and Praise Team members had the wonderful opportunity to sing with other choirs from across the country at Carnegie Hall the weekend after Thanksgiving. We sang under the direction of Mary McDonald and performed her Christmas cantata, "Festival of Christmas". It was an unforgettable trip, and we look forward to another opportunity in the future to once again share this experience.
Music and arts camp
During the summer break from school, a Music and Arts Camp is offered for children in our community. During the camp, children participate in learning to sing upbeat songs and play percussion instruments. They learn bible verses through daily devotions, participate in recreational activities and do art projects. Children do not have to be members of Mount Zion to participate.
